Latvia is a bit of a dark horse. Lying in the Baltic Sea just above Lithuania and a stones throw from the Russian Federation, it's a really interesting slice of Eastern Europe.  As with many of the counties in the region, Latvia was occupied by Russia until the early 90's and the signs are everywhere, from the statues in Riga to the social housing blocks created to service their forward bases, it's a truly fascinating legacy.

Some of Latvia's highlights include the old Russian quarter in Riga, where you could easily double turn of the century Russia and many now derelict communist military bases, some of which still have propaganda artwork up on the walls and pieces of equipment lying exactly where they would have been on the day they left.

Latvia offers a 20% tax credit to qualifiers and we can put you in touch with a local Producer to help arrange this.
